SPORTS RADIO 610'S "No Shave November" Campaign
OVERVIEW
During the month of November 2015, a new campaign was launched in which Sports Radio 610 (local Houston-based sports radio station) hosted a fundraiser benefiting prostate cancer awareness and the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge set to break ground in Houston in 2015.
During the month, each show on 610 reached out to its audience for donated sports items, such as signed memorabilia and event tickets, to be auctioned off at the 1st annual "Beard Ball" - the charity fundraiser event taking place at the end of November. Each on-air show competed with each other to see who could raise the most amount of money during their designated week.
